Butterfly Creek

At Butterfly Creek I went to the butterfly room. It was hot and I got sweaty.

I went there to learn about butterflies.

 One butterfly rested on my hat. Most butterflies went on Kassie’s hat because it had flowers on it. There were blue, red and yellow butterflies.

I saw the butterflies drinking from oranges, bananas and flowers.

I have flowers on my hat and at Butterfly Creek lots of butterflies landed on my hat. 

The butterfly was trying to drink 

from the flowers on my hat.

It was hot and I got very sweaty.

We also got to pet the farm animals.

We loved the rabbits and the dog.

We made some butterfly pictures on "Paint"

We are all back at school

Welcome Room 13

I hope everyone had a good holiday and you are all ready to learn heaps!
Our first topic is "Butterflies" and we are going to Butterfly Creek.
If you have any books, pictures or things to show about butterflies, please bring them to school.
Then it's "all aboard me hearties" for a Pirate experience!
Term 2 we will learn about Flight and we have planned a trip to the airport.                                             Then we will look at birds and how they fly.
